Since we are trying to improve our French, we selected French and he was extremely patient with us. Whenever we didn’t know a word, he would explain the meaning in French or give us the English equivalent.
Gaëtan took us for a stroll through old Nice which was perfect for us because we live in the Musicians quarter and hadn’t yet visited old Nice.
He discussed history, led us to where we could hear free concerts, introduced us to restaurants, a patisserie, and a chocolate store.
He even took the time to introduce us to Socca and a glass of Rosé.
Gaetan was amazing! Aside from his knowledge of the city, his excitement for what he shared was contagious. We’ve also benefited from being able to revisit the businesses he suggested. We were truly pleased!

Colette is absolutely wonderful. We learned so much about Cimiez . We asked her to conduct the tour in French and she spoke clearly and slowly enough for us to understand.
She did not rush the tour but moved ahead at our pace and answered all of our questions. It was an absolutely delightful morning.
Our walk with Gaetan was very informative, we learned a lot about the city and the area. He was very good company as well as an efficient guide.
